Shri Govindaji Gaudaiya Math warmly invites all Houston vāsīs to join us for one of the biggest festivals of the year — Gaura Purnima, the auspicious appearance day of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who is Shrimati Radhika and Lord Krishna combined.

This is a most magnanimous and sacred day. Lakhs and lakhs of devotees travel to the holy dhāma of Mayapur, the birthplace of Mahaprabhu, to celebrate this divine occasion. Attending this festival is considered as spiritually uplifting as going to the dhāma itself.
